Sidekick is built compliance-first. Below is how we approach responsible gambling, AI disclosure, and player data.
The Sidekick widget includes soft-thresholds for in-session activity (deposit/bet sums per session). When a threshold is crossed, the character pauses recommendations and surfaces a BeGambleAware redirect.
The character is forbidden from suggesting "win it back" or any predatory pattern. All copy is reviewed against the UKGC LCCP 5.1.6 (gambling-related advertising) and 3.4 (RG).
If the operator's player account management flags a user as self-excluded, Sidekick does not show the widget. We follow GAMSTOP and equivalent scheme signals via operator-provided userExcluded flag.
Each character is disclosed as an AI persona. The widget shows a "LIVE · CHARACTER NAME" pill that establishes character identity, not a human agent.
The character's voice prompt adapts to country/age/play style but never impersonates a real human or claims to be one.
We process only the data the operator sends us (userId, country, age range, events). We do not store names, emails, phone numbers, or financial PII without explicit operator consent + DPA.
Cloudflare D1 is configured in EU region. No data leaves EU unless the operator requests a different region.
Operators can call DELETE /api/v1/users/:id to remove all player data (events, missions, rewards) on player request.
Sidekick is a B2B engagement layer. We do not hold any gaming license — operators using Sidekick must hold the relevant license for their jurisdiction (UKGC, Spelinspektionen, MGA, KSA, etc.).
This is a demo product. Full Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and DPA templates are available upon request as part of operator pilot agreements.
